KIEV, March 24 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is allocating EUR 65 million to the Ukrainian national transmission network operator, Ukrenergo, to enhance its power supply reliability in Kiev.

The loan will be spent on the construction of a 330kV Zakhidna substation as well as the construction of two 330kV lines, which will connect the new substation to the grid.
