KIEV, March 25 – The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Ukraine plans to help create up to 3,000 jobs for internally displaced persons (IDP) and residents from Donetsk and Luhansk regions, using $2 million in donor aid from the Japanese government, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative Inita Paulovica has said.
"We need to help internally displaced persons get on their feet. We are about to launch a project that will help businesses, non-governmental organizations and local authorities to create jobs for them," she said at a press briefing in Kiev on Wednesday.
