KIEV, March 19 - Ukraine's integrated power grids decreased electricity output by 13.9% or by 4.847 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) year-over-year in January and February 2015, to 30.04 billion kWh, an Energy and Coal Industry Ministry source told Interfax-Ukraine.
Nuclear power plants increased electricity output by 1.1%, to 16.199 billion kWh.
Zaporizhia nuclear power plant saw a rise of 9.5% in electricity generation year-over-year, to 7.098 billion kWh, Yuzhnoukrainsk nuclear power plants decreased output by 32.7%, to 2.822 billion kWh, Rivne nuclear power plant increased production by 17.1%, to 3.426 billion kWh, and Khmelnytsky nuclear power plant saw a 17.8% decrease, to 2.852 billion kWh over the period under review.
