KIEV, March 10 – The discussion of Ukraine's request to provide financial aid to the country under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) Arrangement instead of the Stand-By Arrangement approved in spring 2014 is the only issue on the agenda of the meeting of the Executive Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund scheduled for March 11.
The information is posted on the IMF's website.
"IMF says that the first disbursement that Ukraine will receive aiming to achieve macroeconomic stabilization will be a substantial part of the sum of $17.5 billion," Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko said earlier on her Twitter page.
