KIEV, Jan. 16 ??“ Electricity output in the Ukrainian grid in 2005 grew by 2.1% or by 3.8 bln kWh on the year to 185.2 bln kWh, the Energy and Fuel Ministry reported.

In 2005, Ukraine's nuclear power plants increased electricity production by 2%, heat power plants by 3%, and hydroelectric power plants by 5%, while municipal combined heat power plants and off-grid generating plants cut electricity production by 6.9%.
