KIEV, Jan. 16 ??“ Ukrainian thermal power plants may reduce consumption of natural gas by 3.8% or 330 mln cubic meters, the Energy and Fuel Ministry reported Monday.

The general gas consumption by Ukrainian thermal power plants and combined heat and power plants will be 8.4 bln cubic meters in 2006, the ministry said.
