Journal Staff Report

MOSCOW, Feb. 27 – The Russian Foreign Ministry said Russian citizens going to Ukraine will need foreign travel passports to enter and leave the country starting March 1.

"The Russian Foreign Ministry is pointing out to Russian citizens going to Ukraine that, in accordance with a decision made unilaterally by the current Ukrainian administration, transit, stay and travel on the territory of Ukraine will not be possible with Russian passports (internal passports) and children's birth certificates (for children under the age of 14) stating their Russian citizenship," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a report.
