KIEV, Feb. 16 – The surplus of Ukraine's foreign trade balance in 2014 was estimated at $3.88 billion, after it shrank by $370 million in the fourth quarter, the State Statistics Service reported on Monday.
In 2013 Ukraine saw a foreign trade balance deficit which was estimated at $8.51 billion.
In 2014 exports fell by 14.6% to $63.89 billion, while imports declined by 28% to $60.01 billion.
Goods exports alone declined by 13.5% to $53.91 billion, while goods imports fell by 28.3%, to $54.38 billion in 2014.
