KIEV, Feb. 16 - PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia hopes that the National Commission of Ukraine for Energy, Housing and Utilities Services Regulation will triple the price of gas produced and sold by the company for the needs of the population from UAH 349.2 per 1,000 cubic meters to UAH 1,048 per 1,000 cubic meters.

"Very active talks are being held, we have a letter from Naftogaz with the idea of the price, which will be increased from the second quarter. However, we have no the final figure today. The approximate price rise is three times. This is the purchase price at which Ukrgazvydobuvannia sells gas to Naftogaz," company CEO Serhiy Kostiuk told reporters in Kiev.
