KIEV, Feb. 11 – President Petro Poroshenko has proposed that the heads of banks, their end beneficiaries and other owners be punished by a term of up to five years in prison for making banks insolvent if the financial damage amounts to over UAH 170,000 for the state or creditors.
Draft law No. 2085 on amendments to some Ukrainian laws on the responsibility of persons affiliated with banks was registered in the Ukrainian parliament on Tuesday.
