KIEV, Feb. 9 – Industrial prices in Ukraine, after stabilizing in December, have started growing again, rising for the first month of the new year by 2.3%, the State Statistics Service reported.
In annual terms (compared to the same month last year) the growth of prices accelerated to 34.1% from 31.8% in 2014.
Industrial prices in Ukraine in 2013 rose by 1.7% compared to 0.3% in 2012.
In January 2015, prices in the mining and quarrying sectors increased by 0.4%. In particular, those for the extraction of stone, sand and clay grew by 2.7%, coal - by 1.1%. At the same time, prices in metal ore production decreased by 0.4%, natural gas - by 0.3%.
