Deputy PM: Minerals deal with U.S. won’t require national referendum
KYIV, March 13 – Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice, Olha Stefanishyna, has stated that the agreement with the United States does not entail the transfer of rights to natural resources or any property rights, and therefore does not require consideration through a nationwide referendum.

IAEA chief is concerned about nuclear safety in Ukraine as war rages on
KYIV, March 13 – Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi expressed serious concerns about nuclear safety in Ukraine, in particular due to the recent drone attacks on the Shelter facility in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone and explosions at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), according to a statement published on the official website of the agency on Thursday.

Finland announces EUR 200-mln military aid package for Ukraine
KYIV, March 13 – Finnish Defense Minister Antti Hakkanen and Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov held a bilateral meeting on Thursday, during which the 28th package of military aid to Ukraine worth EUR 200 million was announced, in addition, the ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding on defense cooperation between the defense departments of the two countries, the press service of the Finnish Defense Ministry reports.

Zelensky leading among most trusted Ukrainian politicians, poll shows
KYIV, March 15 – President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, volunteer Serhiy Prytula and adviser to the head of the President’s Office Mykhailo Podoliak are leading in the ranking of politicians and public figures trusted by Ukrainians, according to the results of a survey conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from February 22 to March 1, 2023 within the framework of the MATRA Program project funded by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ukraine.

IMF team leader notes progress in discussions with Ukraine
KYIV, March 15 – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission led by Gavin Gray notes progress following policy discussions with the Ukrainian authorities in Warsaw on March 8-15 on a possible new program supported by the fund but notes the need to continue them in the coming days.
