Ukraine’s government suggests cutting 2025 budget deficit to 19.4% of GDP
KYIV, Sept 16 - The government of Ukraine on Friday approved the draft state budget for 2025 with revenues (excluding official transfers and grants) of the general fund at the level of UAH 2.007 trillion and general fund expenditures of UAH 3.644 trillion, the Finance Ministry said on its website.

Ukraine, US to hold joint military drills

Finance Ministry seeks to step up borrowing to bridge 2021 budget gap
KYIV, Sept 14 - The draft state budget for 2021 assumes an increase in borrowings to finance the general fund of the state budget by UAH 64.2 billion, or 10.3%, to UAH 684.7 billion, of which government domestic loan bonds will amount to UAH 549.1 billion, such data were given by the Ministry of Finance.

Zelenskiy warns EU over risk from Russia’s Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline
KYIV, Sept 15 – The Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline poses a risk to Europe's energy security, President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

Parliament votes to set official date for occupation of Crimea
KIEV, Sept. 16 – Parliament has voted in favor of a law "On amendments into some laws of Ukraine on fixing a date of the beginning of temporary occupation", which sets February 20, 2014 as the official date of the beginning of Crimea's occupation by the Russian troops. |
