Foreign investments not subject to nationalization, president says
AMMAN, April 17 – Foreign investments in Ukraine are not subject to nationalization, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said.
"National rules of investment activities are applied to foreign investors on the territory of Ukraine. Foreign investments in Ukraine are not subject to nationalization," Yanukovych said at a Ukrainian-Jordanian business forum in Amman on Tuesday. |
President made UAH757,600 in 2011, according to released declaration
KIEV, April 17 – President Viktor Yanukovych has made public his declaration of income for 2011, the presidential press service reported.
The declaration was posted on the official Web site of the president as required by Ukrainian law, and within 30 days will be published in an official newspaper. |

KIEV, April 17 – Ukraine sees Jordan as an important partner in the Middle East, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych said.
"This visit will give a new impetus to our relations, and mutual interests will only increase," the presidential press service quoted him as saying at talks between Ukrainian and Jordanian delegations in Amman on April 16. |
Kuchma to be charged in several more days
KIEV, April 17 – Ukrainian prosecutors need “several more days” to complete investigation into the alleged involvement of former President Leonid Kuchma in the murder of journalist Heorhiy Gongadze in September 2000, Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka said Sunday. |
Foreign ministry officially informs WTO of protocol ratification
KIEV, April 17 – Ukraine's Foreign Ministry has sent a note to the secretary general of the World Trade Organization, officially informing that office of the ratification of a protocol on Ukraine's joining the organization, which was signed in Geneva on Feb. 5.
