KYIV, May 16 – Ukraine completed repair at the Olympiysky stadium in Kyiv ahead of the UEFA Champions League final between England's Liverpool and Spain's Real Madrid on May 26, Youth and Sports Minister Ihor Zhdanov said Wednesday.


NATO condemns Russia’s bridge over Kerch Strait to Crimea

KYIV, May 16 - NATO condemns the opening of the Kerch Strait Bridge and sees this as another violation of Ukraine's sovereignty.

KIEV, May 16 - Fitch Ratings has affirmed Ukraine's Long-Term Foreign and Local Currency Issuer Default Ratings at 'CCC.'

"The issue ratings on Ukraine's senior unsecured foreign and local currency bonds have also been affirmed at 'CCC'. The Country Ceiling has been affirmed at 'CCC' and the Short-term foreign-currency IDR at 'C'," according to the agency.

Government reports 0.1% year-over-year GDP increase for Q1 2016

KIEV, May 16 – Ukraine's real gross domestic product in the first quarter of 2016 increased by 0.1% compared to the first quarter of 2015, while in the previous year the drop was 17%, the State Statistics Service reported.
