Saakashvili calls on Ukrainian businessmen to invest in his country

KIEV, Oct. 15 – Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili has called on Ukrainian businessmen to invest more actively in large-scale projects in Georgia, particularly in the construction of objects in Batumi, Poti and Kobuleti, the press service of Parliament's committee for industrial and regulatory policy and entrepreneurship reported.


US Agriculture Department improves its forecast for wheat harvest

KIEV, Oct. 16 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture has improved its forecast for Ukraine's wheat harvest to 13.8 million tons, up from 13.3 million tons forecast in August and 13.5 million tons forecast in September.
