Key power supply line to Zaporizhzhia NPP disconnected by shell fire

KYIV, Oct 17 – The 750 kV ZNPP - Dniprovska line of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, which received external power from the Ukrainian power system, was once again disconnected due to rocket attacks by the Russian military on remote substations, and the plant switched back to providing its own needs with diesel generators, Energoatom has reported.


Saudi Arabia vows to allocate $400-mln in humanitarian aid to Ukraine

KYIV, Oct 17 – Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz announced the allocation of humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the amount of $400 million, the official SPA news agency reported on Saturday following his phone talk with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky the day before.


OSCE stops monitoring mission in eastern Ukraine after Donetsk protests

IMF lowers estimate of Ukraine’s economic growth to 3.5% in 2021

Ukraine dismisses concerns over threat to visa-free travel with EU

KYIV, Oct 13 – Nothing threatens the visa-free regime of Ukraine with the European Union, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.

"I want to draw your attention to what was not discussed at yesterday's summit [Ukraine-EU]: there were no public or non-public talk about any mythical threats to visa-free travel, about any failures of the EU policy in Ukraine.
