Ukraine’s trade indicators to deteriorate significantly in 2022, NBU says
KYIV, April 18 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) expects a significant deterioration in trade indicators in 2022, but with a current account deficit near zero at the end of the year, Deputy Governor of the NBU Serhiy Nikolaychuk said during a discussion organized by the Center for Economic Strategy (CES).

NBU Council amends policy to allow purchases of govt’s debt
KYIV, April 18 – The Council of the National Bank of Ukraine has approved the Monetary Policy Guidelines for the period of the war, in particular, it allowed the NBU to support the government by buying securities in the primary market, the NBU said.
