European Union Council extends sanctions against Russia for Crimea annexation

KYIV, June 18 – The Council of the European Union has extended for a year sanctions against Russia for the illegal annexation of Crimea.

"On 18 June 2018, the Council extended the restrictive measures in response to the illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia until 23 June 2019," the European Council wrote on its website on Monday.


U.S. House of Representatives committee seeks to boost Ukraine program in 2019

Ukraine ships fifth batch of Oplot-T battle tanks to Thailand

KIEV, June 16 – Ukraine has shipped to Thailand the fifth batch of new main battle tank Oplot-T, consisting of five tanks built at the facilities of state-owned Malyshev Machine-Building Plant (Kharkiv) under a $240 million contract signed in 2011.
