Ukraine postpones decision on grain quota

KIEV, Aug. 18 – Ukraine on Wednesday postponed for seven days its decision on grain export quotas, with government officials arguing more time was needed to investigate the issue.


Ukraine’s GDP declines 18% in second quarter, government reports

KIEV, Aug. 17 - Ukraine's Q2 GDP dropped 18% year-on-year in like-for-like value, according to early estimates provided by the State Statistics Committee.

"The publication of the express bulletin 'GDP and Gross National Revenue of Ukraine for the second quarter of 2009' is slated for September 30, 2009," the committee said.
