SBU investigates failure to relocate Mriya An-225 during Russian attack
KYIV, Oct 18 – The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is establishing all the circumstances of the destruction of the An-225 Mriya aircraft, in particular, the reasons for the failure of the leadership of the Antonov State Enterprise to take all necessary measures to save the aircraft, the SBU has reported.

Russia caused UAH 3.49-bln in environment damage to Kharkiv: study
KYIV, Oct 18 – For the period from September 20 to October 15, 2022, inspectors of the State Environmental Inspectorate examined 26 objects in the territories of Kharkiv region de-occupied from Russian troops, where they recorded numerous facts of violation of the requirements of the environmental legislation of Ukraine by the occupiers and damage to natural resources by them.

Russia attacks Ukraine’s power supplies
KYIV, Oct 18 - Airstrikes cut power and water supplies to hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians on Tuesday, part of what the country’s president called an expanding Russian campaign to drive the nation into the cold and dark and make peace talks impossible.

J.P. Morgan says IMF may disburse $1.4-bln tranche to Ukraine in December
KYIV, Oct 13 - Ukraine may receive a tranche of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the amount of about $1.4 billion in October-December 2021, J.P. Morgan said in the October EMEA EM Emerging Markets research.
We believe that the IMF will pay a tranche of $1.4 billion in the fourth quarter of 2021, but is considering a possible range of this amount from $1 billion to $1.5 billion, J.P. Morgan said.

Ukraine, IMF reach preliminary agreement
KYIV, Oct 18 – Ukraine has agreed to implement a set of reforms that may open the way for resumption of lending from the International Monetary Fund once lawmakers approve required legislation and the government keeps fiscal discipline.

Ukraine, Turkey sign military agreement
ISTANBUL, Oct 16 - Turkey and Ukraine signed military cooperation agreements in Istanbul on Friday, deepening a defense partnership seen as an effort to counterbalance Russia's dominance in the Black Sea region, The Associated Press reported.
