Russia sends draft intergovernmental oil transit deal to Ukraine
NOVO-OGARYOVO, June 29 – Russia has sent a draft intergovernmental agreement on oil transit to Ukraine, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin told journalists.
"An issue of oil transit to the Yuzhny port was discussed. Russia paid attention to cutting of a tariff by Ukraine. Our figures are the following: supplies via Novorossiysk cost $47.09 per ton and via Yuzhny port - $53 per ton," Sechin said. |
Government steps in to solve management dispute at UkrTransNafta
KIEV, June 26 - The Ukrainian government stepped in to solve a management dispute at UkrTransNafta, the state-owned oil shipper, which had been plaguing the company since Monday, a government official said Friday.
The dispute escalated Monday when two managers, Ihor Kiriushyn and Oleksandr Lazorko, had claimed control over the company that moves a bulk of Russian crude oil for exports to the European Union. |
