Seven Ukraine soldiers killed in clashes

KIEV, July 19 - Ukraine said Tuesday seven of its soldiers had been killed and 14 wounded in "very heated" fighting that marked the bloodiest clashes with pro-Russian separatists in two months, AFP reported.


No need for binding gas protocol, Russian energy minister says

MOSCOW, July 17 - Russia has created all the conditions for Ukraine to buy Russian gas, so there is no need to sign any binding protocols on gas supplies for the third quarter, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.
