US Congress to hear in January on $125-mln Ukraine military assistance fund

KYIV, Dec 19 — The United States Congress will hear information in January 2019 about the allocation of the first half of military assistance funds to Ukraine for the next year to the tune of $125 million, U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker said at a meeting with Parliamentary Speaker Andriy Parubiy.


Cabinet suggests imposing new sanctions against Russian entities

KYIV, Dec 19 - Ukraine has invited Portugal to joint work on the creation of a firefighting aircraft, according to Svyatoslav Tsegolko, press secretary for President Petro Poroshenko.
