Gunman, police officer killed in shootout in Kharkiv

KHARKIV, Aug. 20 - A gunman and a police officer have been killed in a shootout in Ukraine's eastern city of Kharkiv near the city council building, RFE/RL reported.

According to a statement from Ukraine's National Police, the unidentified gunman opened fire overnight on a group of police officers near the Kharkiv City Council.
