Ukraine and EC said to agree on common stance at Tuesday natgas talks

KIEV, Oct. 20 – Ukraine and the European Commission have agreed on a common stand at gas talks with Russia which are scheduled for Tuesday, Naftogaz Ukrayiny reported.

The agreement was reached at a meeting in Kiev on Monday, the state-owned company said.


Progress reported on trilateral gas talks

LONDON, Oct. 20 - Russia, Ukraine and the European Commission moved towards an agreement in late September and made further progress over the weekend, Reuters reported.

The deal is expected to be finalized at meetings between officials in Brussels on Tuesday.
