KIEV, June 20 – Parliament has permitted exports of Ukrainian natural gas, which will allow Naftogaz Ukrayiny to fulfill an agreement with Poland's PGNiG on gas supplies to the country.

Experts from IMF mission arrive in Kiev Monday for government talks

KIEV, June 21 – Experts from a mission of the International Monetary Fund arrived in Kiev on Monday, the IMF Resident Representative Office in Ukraine has told Interfax-Ukraine.

Deputy Director of the IMF's European Department Poul Thomsen and IMF Mission Chief for Ukraine Thanos Arvanitis agreed during their recent visit to Kiev that the IMF mission would start working in Ukraine on June 21 to work out the draft of the new program of cooperation between Ukraine and the IMF.


Parliament votes to relax mining deposit use permit procedures

KIEV, June 21 – Parliament has given first-reading support to a draft law aimed at creating a legal basis for the application of PSA agreements and the relaxation of some permit procedures for the use of mining deposits.

A total of 233 out of 412 MPs registered in the session hall supported the law.


Russia asks Ukraine to ship extra natgas following Belarus dispute
