Ukraine’s inflation seen at 30% in 2022, to drop to 20.8% in 2023: NBU

KYIV, Oct 20 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has kept its inflation forecast for 2022 to 30% and expects it to decline to 20.8% in 2023 (against 20.7% in the previous forecast) and to 10% in 2024 (earlier to 9.4%), the press service of the regulator said on Thursday.

Separatists jail journalist for 15 years

KYIV, Oct. 22 - Pro-Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine said on Tuesday they had sentenced a journalist to 15 years in prison after a court found him guilty of spying on behalf of Ukraine’s SBU intelligence service, Reuters reported.
