Yushchenko calls on Ukraine’s politicians to unit to please IMF

KIEV, Nov. 20 – President Viktor Yushchenko has called on political forces to unite to meet commitments to the International Monetary Fund.

"The president is calling on all political forces to unite to completely fulfil [Ukraine's] commitments to the IMF," Presidential Secretariat First Deputy chief Oleksandr Shlapak said at a meeting between the head of state and the G7 ambassadors.


US court reduces nine-year prison sentence of ex-PM by 11 months
