Zelenskiy facing criticism from lawmakers

KYIV, May 23 - President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is facing sharp criticism after just two days in power, over his efforts to dissolve parliament and revamp electoral law and his appointment of a top aide with close ties to a scandal-plagued oligarch, The Irish Times reported.


NBU expects Ukraine to borrow $2-bln from IMF in 2019-2020

KYIV, May 23 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) expect that in 2020 and 2021 $2 billion of loans from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will be attracted and $3 billion and $3.5 billion will be raised from the placement of eurobonds in 2020 and 2021 respectively, according to a presentation posted on the central bank's website.
