KIEV, Oct. 24 – The European Union is ready to pay attention to the protection of rights of households as part of the provision of technical assistance to Ukraine in reforming the energy market, Secretary of Competitive Policy and Energy Markets at the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine Jose Manuel Hernandez said.


PM predicts rejection for Rada-backed MP salary hike proposal

KIEV, Oct. 24 – A Parliament-backed initiative to almost double MP salaries will be rejected, Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroysman says.

Last week the Rada voted for conclusions and recommendations put forth by parliamentarians as the feedback for the government-prepared draft national budget for 2017 and now the Cabinet is analyzing the changes proposed by the lawmakers, Hroysman said on Facebook.
