Ukraine restores half of 10 GW power capacity lost on Russian strikes
KYIV, Feb 25 - Of the 10 GW of power generation capacity lost due to Russian military actions since the beginning of the invasion, Ukraine managed to restore approximately half, which was facilitated by the Ukraine Energy Support Fund, Energy Minister Herman Haluschenko said.

Ukraine to hold special information session in European Parliament
BRUSSELS, Feb 24 – Ukrainian Week will be held in the European Parliament in early March, Ukraine's Representative to the European Union, Ambassador Mykola Tochytsky said.
During a press briefing in Brussels on Monday, he said that the European Parliament would host a number of the events involving representatives of the Ukrainian party from March 3 to March 5. |
Ukraine asks citizens to avoid trips to Italian regions hit by coronavirus
KYIV, Feb 24 – Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry asked its citizens to avoid any traveling to Italians regions that were affected by coronavirus COVID-19.
"The Ministry recommends that Ukrainian citizens temporarily refrain from traveling to the affected provinces of the Italian regions of Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Piedmont, where there is the greatest risk of infection," said in the recommendations of the Ukrainian ministry released on Monday. |
