Ukraine asks IMF to consider costs of insurgency when disbursing aid

KIEV, June 25 - Ukraine asked the IMF on Wednesday to take into account the extra financial burden of fighting an insurgency in the east as it decides on further disbursement of aid under a $17 billion bailout program, Reuters reported.

KIEV, June 25 - President Viktor Yushchenko has signed a law on banning the gambling business in Ukraine.

Parliament, on June 11 overrode a presidential veto of the law on banning the gambling business in Ukraine. Parliament refused to support presidential proposals on the law.
