US court postpones Tymoshenko lawsuit consideration until September

KIEV, July 22 – The United States District Court for the Southern District of New York has postponed its consideration of a lawsuit filed by former Ukrainian Prime Minister and Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko against Swiss-registered gas trader RosUkrEnergo (RUE) and its co-owner Dmytro Firtash until September 9, Radio Liberty reported on Friday, referring to the office of Judge Richard Sullivan.


Tymoshenko asks for swift EU trade action

Ukraine plans to complete coal industry privatization by end-2014

KIEV, July 23 – Ukraine plans to complete privatization of coalmines attractive for investment by late 2014, according to a statement by the Coal Ministry.

According to the Coal Ministry, a transfer of coalmines to the management of the State Property Fund (SPF) for their corporatization is to be completed by the middle of 2012.


Ukrainians, Russians deny reports of recent UkrTatNafta talks
