White House announces $270-mln security assistance package for Ukraine

WASHINGTON, July 23 - The White House announced Friday that the U.S. is sending an additional $270 million in security assistance to Ukraine, a package that will include additional medium range rocket systems and tactical drones.


Russia hits Odesa port after grain deal

KYIV, July 23 - Russian missiles hit Ukraine’s Black Sea port of Odesa just hours after Moscow and Kyiv signed deals to allow grain exports to resume from there.
