Ukraine pulls back troops from town

KYIV, June 26 - Ukraine's armed forces have begun to pull back from the town of Stanytsia Luhanska in the Luhansk region, one of only six civilian crossing points along the 450-kilometer line of contact in the Donbas war zone, RFE/RL reported.


Russia may let Ukrainian goods pass through after special GLONAS seals

MOSCOW, June 24 – The transit of Ukrainian goods by road and rail to third countries via Russia will be resolved once their traceability with GLONASS-based seals is ensured, according to the amendments to a presidential decree on the application of special economic measures over Ukraine's unfriendly actions in respect of Russian citizens and legal entities signed in October of last year.


Tymoshenko leads in presidential survey; Poroshenko lags far behind

KYIV, June 26 – If presidential elections in Ukraine were held in the middle of June 2018, Batkivschyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko would receive the most votes, followed by Civil Position Party leader Anatoliy Hrytsenko and Opposition Bloc leader Yuriy Boiko, according to the results of a poll conducted by the Rating Sociological Group.


European Union Council OKs EUR 1-bln economic aid package to Ukraine

KYIV, June 26 - The Council of the European Union has finally approved the fourth macro-financial assistance (MFA) program for Ukraine, which envisages the allocation of EUR 1 billion in loans when Kyiv fulfills a number of conditions; only Hungary voted against the decision, the institution said on its website.
