Ukraine hopes to secure more Chernobyl funding, says 1st DPM

CHERNOBYL, Sept. 23 - Ukraine hopes to secure funding from international donors needed to continue and finish the construction of a new safe confinement for the sarcophagus for the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, by April 2011, said First Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Kliuyev.
