Rosaviatsia: Ukraine air transit ban will have small impact

MOSCOW, Nov. 25 – Ukraine's ban on air transit plays little role for Russian commercial aviation, the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) said in a report.


Rada votes to lift regulatory barriers to industrial park development

KIEV, Nov. 26 - Parliament has passed bill No. 2844 on lifting regulatory barriers to developing industrial parks.

A total of 266 lawmakers supported the bill at second reading on Tuesday.

"Support of industrial parks is a real tool to attract investment in the real economic sector – into the processing industry where jobs are created and taxes are paid," one of the authors of the bill, Viktor Halasiuk (Oleh Liashko's Radical Party) said.

KIEV, Nov. 26 - Despite huge influxes of foreign aid, Ukraine's wage arrears problem has continued to worsen.

According to the State Statistics Service, the overall sum of delayed wages in Ukraine grew by 3.3% in October alone.

KIEV, Nov. 25 - President Viktor Yanukovych said economic problems are the most difficult issues confronting Ukraine's European integration.

"We have passed a long way and we have yet to go a long distance. Economic problems have been the most difficult issues on this road," he said in an appeal to the nation, posted on his Web site.
