Canada’s Ukrainian organizations allocate CAD 70-mln for humanitarian projects

KYIV, Feb 27 – Over two years, more than CAD 70 million have been allocated for humanitarian programs in Ukraine and support for Ukrainians in Moldova and Romania as part of the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal (UHA) project, which is jointly implemented by the Canada-Ukraine Foundation (CUF) and Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC).


European Parliament supports EUR 50-bln Ukraine Facility thru 2027

Ukraine recruits international volunteers for cyberattack against Russia

KYIV, Feb 26 - Ukraine is recruiting international volunteers to carry out cyberattacks against Russia. On Saturday afternoon, Mykhailo Fedorov, the country’s digital transformation minister, took to Twitter to announce he was assembling an “IT army” on Telegram. “There will be tasks for everyone,” he said. “We continue to fight on the cyber front, egadget reported.


EU to supply lethal weapons to Ukraine

BRUSSELS, Feb 26 - The European Union agreed Sunday to close its airspace to Russian airlines, spend hundreds of millions of euros on buying weapons for Ukraine and ban some pro-Kremlin media outlets in its latest response to Russia’s invasion, EU officials said, The Associated Press reported.
