Ukraine not planning to resume nuclear status, foreign ministry says

KIEV, March 25 – Ukraine is not planning to restore its status as a nuclear nation, the Foreign Ministry said.

"Ukraine neither was, nor is planning to renew its nuclear status," Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis said at a Tuesday briefing.


Right Sector demands dismissal of interior minister following killing

Government will not introduce tax on bank interest this year, says PM

KIEV, March 27 – The government will not introduce a tax on incomes from bank deposits this year, Prime Minister Arseniy said.

"In the current conditions the introduction of taxation of passive transactions at banks means that this will be used by people to take deposits from banks. We've decided not to introduce taxation of incomes from bank deposits," he said in parliament on Thursday.
