Macron splits with US on Minsk agreements

PARIS, June 26 - French President Emmanuel Macron said Monday he saw no better way of negotiating an end to the conflict in Ukraine than through the Minsk agreements, sharply differing with comments by U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Reuters reported.

US energy secretary coming in August, Poroshenko says on TV

Spain agrees to supply air defense missiles

Russia's invasion destroyed 30% of Ukraine’s agro-industrial sector

KYIV, May 27 – As a result of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, approximately 30% of the entire potential of the domestic agro-industrial sector has been destroyed, and 20% of agricultural land is under occupation, reported Viktor Kantsurak, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.


Danmark asks EU to work for boosting cooperation with Ukraine

Most Kyiv residents not happy with direction Ukraine is heading: Poll

KYIV, May 26 – Some 43.3% of Kyiv residents believe that the situation in Ukraine is developing in the wrong direction, while 30% disagree, saying some aspects improving and some not. Some 17.8% believe that the situation in the country is moving in the right direction.
