US energy secretary coming in August, Poroshenko says on TV
KIEV, June 26 – President Petro Poroshenko said he expects U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry to visit Ukraine this August.
"The first agreement of the negotiations with Energy Secretary Perry is that Secretary Perry will visit Ukraine in August. We have a lot to talk about," Poroshenko said in an interview with Ukrainian television channels broadcast on Sunday evening. |
EBRD working with Ukraine to restore heating by next winter
LUXEMBOURG, May 27 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is working with Ukrainian partners to find the best way for Ukraine to survive next winter, focusing on increasing grid flexibility and restoring heating where its capacity has been destroyed by Russian strikes, associate director, Senior Banker from the EBRD Energy Team in Ukraine Olha Yeriomina said.

Danmark asks EU to work for boosting cooperation with Ukraine
KYIV, May 27 – Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen, together with colleagues from Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Poland, sent an appeal to the EU with a proposal to expand cooperation with the defense industry of Ukraine, the department's website reported on May 26.
