Ukraine’s population projected to decline to 35-mln people by 2050: report

KYIV, Nov 29 – Ukraine's population is declining and is likely to decline to 35 million by 2050, according to the United Nations analytical report regarding demographic processes in Ukraine.

"Ukraine's population is one of the fastest shrinking in the world and likely to decrease to 35 million by 2050.


Minister: tougher quarantine rules to affect unvaccinated people

KYIV, Nov 30 – The toughening of quarantine rules will affect mostly unvaccinated citizens, Health Minister Viktor Liashko said.

"The government is forced to place the unvaccinated people under quarantine as the coronavirus is not retreating. Europe is setting a new continental record for the incidence of COVID-19, and we must take action to save the lives of citizens who have not yet been vaccinated," he said at a briefing on Tuesday.


Ukraine’s share of shadow economy remains unchanged at 31% in Jan-Jun
