Kiev to soon synchronize sanctions against Russia with Europe
KIEV, Dec. 30 – Ukraine will soon synchronize with Europe its sanctions against Russia, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says.
"Positions almost on all clauses of European sanctions are or will be adequately reflected in the Ukrainian [sanctions] soon," he said at a press conference in Kiev on Monday. |

PM: Ukraine’s power generation covers 70% of its needs
KYIV, Nov 29 – By now, electricity generation in the country covers 70% of needs, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
"Despite the constant shelling of our energy system, it remains integrated. All regions of Ukraine are powered, except for Kherson region. Currently, electricity generation in the country covers 70% of consumption needs, and 30% is a deficit, corrected by consumption restrictions," he said at a government meeting on Tuesday.
