Opposition mulling vote on criminal code

Zelenskyy touts potential NATO membership
KYIV, Dec 1 - An offer of NATO membership to territory under Kyiv’s control would end “the hot stage of the war” in Ukraine, but any proposal to join the military alliance should be extended to all parts of the country that fall under internationally recognized borders, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a broadcast interview.

Ukraine to restrict use of plastic bags starting Dec. 10, ministry says
KYIV, Nov 30 – Law No. 1489-IX on restricting the circulation of plastic bags on the territory of Ukraine comes into force on December 10, and the first stage of restrictions will begin to operate, the press service of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine reports.

Blinken, Lavrov to meet amid Ukraine worries
