Ukraine shuts down pro-Russian TV channels

KYIV, Feb 2 – President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Tuesday imposed devastating sanctions on three Ukrainian television channels controlled by pro-Russian interests and disseminating Russian propaganda disguised as independent commentary.


Ukrainians see Zelenskiy as key driver of reforms in Ukraine

KYIV, Jan 30 – A majority of Ukrainian citizens see their president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, as the main driver of national reforms, Director of the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiative Foundation Irina Bekeshkina said, commenting on the findings of a survey conducted by the foundation jointly with the Razumkov Center on December 6-11.


Pompeo reiterates U.S. support for Ukraine to counter Russia

Poroshenko says he's willing to submit NATO membership to referendum

KIEV, Feb. 2 – President Petro Poroshenko in an interview with German edition Berliner Morgenrost said he is willing to hold a referendum about the prospects of Ukraine's membership in NATO.

Answering a question on whether the accession to NATO is a realistic goal for Ukraine, Poroshenko said that first and foremost Ukrainian people's opinion on this issue is important for him.


Ukrainians balk at IMF demand to lengthen pension requirements
