Moldova approves EUR60-mln bridge across Dniester River to Ukraine
KYIV, Aug 1 – The Moldovan parliament has approved an agreement with Ukraine on the construction of the Yampilsky bridge across the Dniester River, the project cost is about EUR60 million, Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development Andrei Spinu said on his Facebook page.

Ukraine to add 2.9 GW of power capacity by December: PM
KYIV, Aug 1 – The authorities plan to add 2.9 GW of capacity to the power system by December 2023, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
"We are preparing for winter and restoring the energy sector: generation, distribution networks, thermal power plants, combined heat and power plants, boiler houses. By December, we plan to add 2.9 GW of capacity to the power system," Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Tuesday.

Ukraine’s economy may grow 5% on year in 2023 in best case scenario
KYIV, Aug 2 – The real growth of Ukraine's gross domestic product in 2023 may be up to 5%, but, given the existing risks, the Ministry of Economy still conservatively keeps the growth forecast at 2.8%, Director of the Department for Strategic Planning and Macroeconomic Forecasting of the Ministry of Economy Natalia Horshkova has said.
