Armed groups taking advantage of ceasefire to loot, Ukrainians charge

KIEV, Sept. 25 – Using the ceasefire in eastern Ukraine, members of illegal armed groups are stealing Ukrainian enterprises, leader of the Ukrainian section of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC) Major-General Borys Kremenetsky said at a meeting with representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM).


Russia agrees to Ukraine winter gas deal

KIEV, Sept. 27 – Prime Minister Mykola Azarov supports the toughening of the rules of sale and purchase of cash currency, but he said that it is necessary to adjust them to reduce limitations of the freedoms of citizens.

"All of these measures should not restrict freedoms of people. If currency is obtained legally, it should be freely exchanged without any limitations," he told the press on Tuesday in Kiev.
