PM urges Russia to hand over Yanukovych

KIEV, April 3 - Ukraine's prime minister on Thursday blamed ousted President Viktor Yanukovych for the deaths of dozens of anti-government protesters shot by police snipers and urged Russia to hand him over to face charges.


Ukraine should prepare for more severe winters, meteorologist says

KIEV, April 2 – Citizens of Ukraine should prepare for more severe winters, a meteorologist said.

"In general such winters will be repeated, but surely [next] winter won't be worse than this winter," Vazira Martazinova, head of the department for climate research and long-term weather forecasts of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Hydrometeorology of Ukraine's NAS, said at a press conference in Kiev.


Ukraine and Russia discuss possible cooperation with Customs Union
