Bank group leader knocks NBU for ‘hacking’ hryvnia exchange rate

KIEV, Nov. 27 – Oleksandr Suhonyako, the president of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, has criticized the currency exchange rate policy of the National Bank of Ukraine.

"I cannot explain the policy of deliberately hacking the hryvnia exchange rate. The issue still faces the Ukrainian president and NBU leadership. We don't see any explanation for this policy," he said at a press conference in Kiev on Wednesday.


Dollars expected to hit currency market
